Originally a pagan symbol of fertility and continuity. They are emblematic of affluence and profusion. This small batch A3 Mackerel print has a huge range of layered colour built up, shown in the margin with the colour register key. It comes in a fun vertical composition and with the shimmer of the metallic silver it looks so life-like. Sleek, agile and beautifully patterned, the Atlantic Mackerel has been a long-term favourite.
All pieces are completed A3 (42cm x 29cm) on 300gsm bright white card, using fade resistant aerosol paints and over printed with black ink. They are all individually hand stencilled, embossed, signed, and come backed on cardboard and sealed in a cellophane slip. A plastic free 'Eco Option' is available at checkout. With this option the art is rolled carefully into cardboard packaging with tissue paper.
